Gemma Atkinson is a British model and actress, famous for her acting roles in ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Plus One’, among others. She has also famously dated former European and World Player of the Year, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and was once engaged to Marcus Bent, the Wolverhampton Wonderers (English Premier League) striker.
25 year old Gemma was born in Bury, Lancashire. She attended Castlebrook High School and attained her GCSE there before turning her attention to acting and modeling. She began acting as a teenager in the soap opera Hollyoaks, before playing a role in the Comedy Showcase series. She also played as the girlfriend of a drug dealer in the TV Drama, The Bill. She has also made an appearance in a number of films, including Baseline, 13Hrs, The Sweet Shop and Boogie Woogie. Her acting does not end there. She has made appearances in theatre too, most notably at the Manchester Opera Theatre where she appeared in Peter Pan in 2008 and at the Noel Coward Theatre where she acted as Elaine in Calendar Girls.
Gemma is also an accomplished model, with her photos making appearances in several magazines like FHM, Arena, Zoo, Maxim and Nuts. She is famous in Britain for her lingerie and swimwear shoots, and has been in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women since 2006, with her highest ranking at number 18 in 2008. Apart from her modeling, she is also known to do a lot of promotional work like the British Grand Prix, the Tour De France and for lingerie brands La Senza and Ultimo.
